Pam Golding Properties seeks an Intern Estate Agent in Athlone to join their Goodwood, Athlone, and Belhar franchise. The position focuses on property marketing and sales while fulfilling specific learnership requirements.

About this opportunity

Pam Golding Properties is looking for an Intern Estate Agent who is curious; persistent with great attention to detail, but also sociable and outgoing for our Goodwood, Athlone and Belhar franchise. The role is about the successful marketing and selling of property and continued growth of market share, whilst providing excellent customer service and adherence to the job requirements to ensure that the PGP brand and ethos is upheld.

Responsibilities

  • Canvass for properties to sell.
  • Arrange for photographs to be taken.
  • Visit and talk to the sellers about their property.
  • Estimate the value of the property.
  • Organise and attend to show days.
  • Market and promote properties for sale.
  • Represent the sellers in negotiation with prospective buyers.
  • Monitor sales and liaise with all interested parties including mortgage brokers, conveyancers and other estate agents.
  • Advising clients and help buyers.
  • Keeping up to date with trends in the local residential property market, as well as the general market.
  • Ensure that a price is agreed that is acceptable to both buyer and seller.

Requirements

  • Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle.
  • Must be in a position to buy a Fidelity Fund Certificate (FCC).
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings.
