Clicks Group Limited in Johannesburg is offering a Learnership Programme to qualify as a Pharmacist Assistant. This role combines practical work in a Clicks Pharmacy with training and assessment requirements.
Successfully complete a National Certificate: Pharmacy Assistance Learnership Programme (Learner Basic Pharmacist Assistant) and a Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistance (Learner Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant) through the accredited Pharmacy Healthcare Academy.
The programme consists of a structured learning component that includes a theoretical and practical elements, leading to an NQF-registered qualification.
Learners must successfully complete training contracts at a registered Clicks Pharmacy under an approved tutor, attend required training interventions, complete competency assessments, and submit a Portfolio of Evidence.
As a Learner, you will provide support to the healthcare team within the legal scope of practice as outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
Complete the Learnership Training Contracts at a registered Clicks Pharmacy.
Attend the required training interventions and successfully complete competency assessments.
Submit a Portfolio of Evidence.
Provide support to the healthcare team under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist.
Must have completed Grade 12 with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics, or 60% in Mathematical Literacy.
Must have 50% in English and a Pass in Life Science (Biology) or Physics.
Gain a qualification as a Learner Basic Pharmacist Assistant and a Learner Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant.
