Caterpillar Inc. is accepting applications for the 2027 Field Representative Development Programme in Johannesburg. Candidates will undergo 12 to 18 months of training and rotational assignments to prepare for field roles.

Start Date and Location
The program begins on February 1st, 2027, and is based in Johannesburg. The role is full-time with 40 working hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Program Structure
First 3 Months: An immersive learning experience with a cohort of peers. You will dive into Caterpillar products, services, and industry strategies, build communication and leadership skills, and connect with a global network.
Rotational Assignments (12-18 months): You will jump into meaningful roles across the organisation. This involves learning how the business operates from different angles, developing a broad technical and commercial skillset, working on strategic projects, and preparing for a customer-facing field role.
