Location: Liesbeek Avenue off Liesbeek Parkway, Cape Town

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and acknowledge guests using a smile, eye contact, and the guest's name.
• Actively listen to and respond positively to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests.
• Anticipate guest service needs and act on guest preferences immediately.
• Arrange transportation (e.g., taxis, shuttles) for guests and record requests.
• Provide recommendations for local area attractions.
• Maintain safety and security standards; protect company assets and guest privacy.
• Assist other employees to ensure prompt guest service coverage.

2. Reservation Sales Agent - Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! Cape Town

Location: 64 New Church Street, Tamboerskloof, Cape Town

Key Responsibilities:

• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room types.
• Verify availability, explain rate and cancellation policies, and accommodate special requests.
• Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Input and access data in the reservation system; manage room blocks and group rooming lists.
• Set up proper billing accounts and answer questions about property facilities.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation and ensure follow-up on requests.

• Guest Experience Expert: Welcome and acknowledge guests using the guest's name, actively listen to concerns, process service requests, arrange transportation, use the reservation system, maintain safety standards, and fulfill other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
• Reservation Sales Agent: Process telephone/ fax reservations, determine appropriate room types, verify availability, explain policies, accommodate special requests, maintain organized files, and ensure billing accuracy.

Previous experience is not required for these operations roles.

Candidates must demonstrate:

• Comfortable working as part of a team to reach common goals.
Strong skills in telephone etiquette and clear professional communication.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.Proficiency with computer applications, data entry, and reservation systems.Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
